Renatta Mohammed is the Senior Manager of Marketing & Business Development at Deloitte
in Barbados and manages communication for Deloitte’s Caribbean and Bermuda Cluster. She has 19 years of working experience within her chosen field and offers her insights to Deloitte’s clients.
Prior to joining Deloitte, as a private consultant, she lent her expertise to top clients in real estate and the food and beverage industry in Florida, USA. She is credited for the brand transformation of the national postal service of Trinidad and Tobago, and copped global and local awards for brand transformation and improved customer service. Renatta is also very familiar with the regional tourism industry, having managed the communications and marketing portfolio of Trinidad and Tobago’s then trade and tourism body during a time of transformation. Renatta has served as Communications Manager to a former Attorney General and spearheaded communications of a national public utilities ministry. She is skilled in the area of image management. With a foundation as a journalist, Renatta has worked in the regional print and broadcast media, equipping her with strong media relations skills.
Renatta has an Associate degree in Mass Communications from the Barbados Community College and an MBA in Marketing & Finance from Henley, UK. She has an International Qualification from the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Public Relations, Advertising and Marketing. She also has professional certificates in Event Management, Industrial Relations and Broadcasting.
Renatta is currently serving as Vice-President Communications for IABC Barbados, and is Chair of the Marketing and Communications Committee of the Barbados International Business Association (BIBA).
